HOMESTEAD WOODWORKING SCHOOL

Homestead Woodworking School offers a variety of classes for novice, intermediate, and advanced woodworkers who are eager to improve their skills.  Our enthusiastic instructors are professional woodworkers with different areas of specialization, but with a common dedication to helping others learn the intricacies of their craft.

Our classes are held in a large, comfortable, well-equipped shop in a restored, timber framed barn in rural Newmarket, NH.  We have information on area lodging, restaurants, and a variety of attractions -- ranging from historic Portsmouth and the scenic drive down the seacoast to Hampton Beach, to the numerous ski areas and hiking trails of the White Mountains.  The Pease International Trade Port and Manchester Airport provide access for air travelers.

Feel free to bring your own lumber to class, or to purchase it from the school's inventory.  There's also Highland Hardwoods, which is a fully-stocked lumber dealer just up the road.  All consumable supplies -- like sandpaper, glue, and screws-- will be provided by the school.

Industrial Arts and Tech Ed teachers -- Keep in mind that these classes are a great way for you and your staff to get development credits!
