decoration to enhance your project, including carving through paint, inlay,
burning of surfaces and many more techniques. Dick has over 20 years of
woodturning experience, and he has done an incredible amount of artistic
turning. He also does precise architectural restoration turning.

Excellent wood finishing results can be obtained using just a few tools and materials.
You’ll learn the basic steps to get a fine finish, using varnish, shellac and oil on practice
boards. You’ll also learn which brush or pad to use, and how to add color with
stains, glazes and waxes. This is a one day intensive course with time for discussion.
